FATTI BOM BOM BOM!

OMG Internet is so under rated! Finally after two weeks of agony ive got my comp back on track. The only thing standing against me and free Internet access was this strange router called a Livebox. " A Livebox? wtf is that?!" u may ask yourself, as did I. A livebox is something the ISP Orange has made up in order to make life much harder on their customers. With strange drivers, buttons to push, and a ton of steps you have to go through and before youre done you have a fing phd in computer communication. Last night I earned my PHD and PUNISHED the Router.

Spotify has gone warm since, and it will continue to do so. Im already in love with the Spanish commercial breaks, not at all as annoying as the Swedish one :)

School is going good, need to study a little harder though so I learn enough to get in to the next course next semester. Would be pretty sweet to stay in Barcelona for almost a year..
Found some sweet apartments with big sun roofs, so now I just need to win some money so I can afford to stay there.

Cava in the park tonight I think, should take advantage of the nice weather as long as you can.. getting a little colder, ONLY F 72 today..

First week

First week are done, pretty frustating to acctually struggle with something in school.. i guess it will be easier after a while..
got robbed last night of my cell phone.
a guy comes up to me and starts dancing and humping my leg, I just assumed that he was overfriendly until i realized that my phone was missing after like 20 meters of walking away, so I ran back and after threatening two other guys in a orange tshirt i found the MF.. I guess that I looked pretty  pissed off cause he had my phone up in matter of seconds.. I was furious and was seriously thinking of robbing him just to make him feel how shitty it is..
Well, i got my phone back and learned a lesson..
went to park guell yesterday, a really nice park that i need to visit again..
gonna party like a rockstar tonight, so im about to go down to the store and get some beer and food. tomorrow is Denmark-Sweden, really important game.. vinna eller forsvinna..

First day of Class

YAY first day of class all done, Now I can almost say how old I am, where I live and where I come from. We spent half a year doing that in German class when i was 14..

Met the rest of the class today, feels like a good group. Like the facebook stalker I am, I already knew all their names and when I asked one of the guys what the hell he was talking about thinking Allback is better than Zlatan he looked a little puzzled before he blamed it on the alcohol..

Second day on the beach as well, it was 28 degrees out today, (like 82 "US" degrees) so bathing was pretty nice..

Hmm, what else, oh! I live in the gay part of Barcelona.. Gayexample its called.. I should have noticed when my gaydar was beeping like a mother. But I had read that Barcelona is one of the most gay-friendly cities in the world so I just thought it was how it was. Apparently not :) So if anyone likes dragshows and male strippers I have plenty of bars/clubs just outside the apartment.

Karly; Ill keep on typing in English until it gets too hard or I want to talk shit about ppl that doesnt know Swedish ;)
Mackan: Yes indeed, but if we both will be down here at the same time, we're getting an apartment with a big ass sun roof (takterrass) :)

The first Three days in barcelona

So here I am again, a stranger in a strange land. a little less strange than the US I must say but still pretty strange.

Sitting with my roommates laptop and the reason I type in English is cause she is from Belgium. In Belgium they dont have the same key boards as we do, they use the system azerty instead of qwerty, really darned up.. so instead of installing Swedish keyboard i just type in English instead..


some short sentences of my trip so far.

  • Spent two days in two different hostels before I found a place to stay.
  • The place I live now is pretty central but a little expensive..
  • I live with a girl from Belgium that speaks a ton of different languages..
  • And a guy from Peru that speaks one.
  • The flying rats are a little cooler here in Barcelona, the hang with parrots.
  • When you try to find a supermarket you wont find one, when you dont try to find one you see hundreds..
  • I must admit that I bought the latest Dan Brown book, didnt like it so much, probably his second worse book so far..
  • Got lost after looking at an apartment, walked around for around three hours and got chafes in places I wont mention..
  • The school is nice and the two who runs it are really nice..
  • Everyone knows Im a tourist cause I walk around in shorts, sweating like a pig, drinking water from a enormous water bottle when the locals are having winter jackets on..
  • I got a new phone number, its +34 622 809 214
  • Why dont I use my own computer? My charger is darned up..
  • Tomorrow is probably sightseeing day, Sunday is bathing-day.
